Mr. Neal, Principal of OCSA

 Greetings!

Welcome back! I hope you have had an enjoyable summer. We have been busy preparing for another exciting year and can't wait for you to see how the renovations have been progressing. The new campus is starting to come into focus as different phases are completed. We will still have some inconveniences for a few months, so we thank you in advance for your patience, understanding and flexibility. Before the first day of school please feel free to look over our website for general information/expectations and also PARENT SQUARE for the latest announcements and communication.
Meet the Teacher is Wednesday afternoon from 3:30 - 5:30pm and with renovations limiting the amount of indoor space available we are trying to provide as much online information as we can to minimize having long lines in the heat of the day. This year's Meet the Teacher will primarily be geared towards seeing your teachers and their class location if available. Some teachers will be stationed in designated areas with informational handouts if their room location is not able to be accessed. Again, welcome back and enjoy your last days of summer as get ready for another amazing year at OCSA... Where Passion Meets Purpose.
Thank you.

Dennis Neal
Principal, OCSA

David

Jazz is a language of its own. 11th grader, David, has a unique view on jazz music. “Jazz gives me the freedom to execute any idea that comes up in my head,” he states. Like many other students, he connects to music which allows him to explore concepts beyond the classroom. He continues, “For me, it isn’t all about playing guitar chords; it is about what each one generates for the band and the infinite ways of phrasing and emphasizing them. Being in jazz has opened my ear to hear the story every single person in the band has to convey.”
